I don't think you have to worry about it in Oklahoma.
Oklahoma State Troopers usually only ticket people with Texas plates.

(At least that's what I found when I lived in Texas)

Still, take Joe's advice and check before you mod.

I so very wish that was true.... as far as my local highway patrol they figure pull them over and find a reason later.

You're right SoCal... and I'm right on the state border, so I see Ok plates in Tx and vice versus... they do have some nice highways though!! I've got so much to catch up on, it will be a while anyways...

Well I couldn't find any headlight covers, so I went to my decal shop and got some black vinal. Costed me $10 bucks. I have enough to do it 2 times on each light. I'll do it this week end and post pix.

Arent headlights and the reflectors behind them designed to project a certain pattern of the beam? Any paint, vinyl, or plastic eyelids would alter that and reduce front visibility at night. It may look nice, but if you cant see where you are driving, is it worth it?
