HELLO from a newbie

Hey guys,
I am brand new to the board...just bought an 06 HHR 2LT. This is my first front wheel drive 4 cylinder car. I have always been a V8 GM guy all the way!! My other vehicle is an 01 Camaro SS...love it too.
I have my first question..I want a set of window deflectors so I can let my windows down a little and have some ventilation when parked in the sun.
I think I want the kind that mount up in the window channel. What kind do you guys have and what is a good price for them.

Thanks,
SUNSET

Check the supporting vedors here.
For window vents there are Lund, Weathertec, and my personal favorite, EGR!

Welcome Sunset!...You have found a terrific place to find out all things HHR. In regards to your vent shades, I went with in channel units from weathertech. In channel so there is no stickum on the body, weathertech because the rear ones cover the entire window and I like that look. If memory serves, they were about $90 shipped to me and all of 15 minutes to install with no tools involved.

Welcome Sunset. Corvette guy here. Enjoy the HHR and this board. These are fun little cars that react well to springs and sway bars and look good with easy mods.

I have the Lund Eclipse - which are in channels but use adhesive foam tape to stay in position. I agree EGR's are nice, but be wary, I tried ordering these and the vendor I ordered these from had a problem communicating with EGR (in Australia)..which is why I have the Lunds.

Welcome sunset from Ontario :canada: I have the stick-on vent visors painted to match. Purchased from GM, but I am sure you can find them cheaper.
Good Luck.;)

Attachment 37544 to the site. Besides the in-channel question do you want them to cover the entire rear window or just the part that rolls down?

Hills, good call. i was just about to post up and ask which ones cover the whole rear window. i'm strongly considering getting some of these bad boys. i just think the ones that only cover the portion of the rear window that actually rolls up and down look unfinished.

Thanks guys,
The ones that cover the entire rear window sound nice. Anyone have pics of these. Who makes them? Are they the in-channel type?
