HHR Paint seems better

I don't know if it's because I'm taking better care of this vehicle's paint or what, but the paint job seems to be "deeper" or have a thicker look than other cars. Like the clear coat is deeper. Maybe it's the orange paint. Anyone else see that?

I have noticed in the other colors, the wax shine seems to be 'glossier' than in the White. Perhaps that's just a personal observation, I just can't seem to get the shine you all are achieving. Don't get me wrong, I love the white (obviously), it's just not shining like I think it should.

I wonder if they all have the same clear coat thickness. Surely they do. Right now mine looks like it has clear Karo syrup poured over it, it's very thick looking. Better than the Toyota truck sitting next to it. But I'm being very anal about cleaning it.

When I pass through Texas in December, I'll let you have your way with my HHR to make it shine!

KIV that many of the HHR colors are metalic paint. White, black and victory red are not so may not appear to shine as much as the others.
