I dont want to drive my HHR anymore
After spending 8 hours washing, waxing, buffing, polishing the chrome and cladbacking the black trim on my HHR and my friends Avalanche, I dont want to drive it now. It is too shiny and its now love bug season so those little b@stards are going to screw up my new wax job.
I guess I will just have to keep washing it every few days because I am not going to give up driving this awsome vehicle! |
Scared me there Gambler...I thought you had a mishap with your HHR. :scared:
Glad to hear it's nothing serious. |
you need some quick shine from moose e man on here. bugs hardly stick and easy to use and works great on the front end.
it wont stop them from sticking but makes clean up of bugs one of the easiest things to do especially w that good shine. www.clearkote.com |
Love bugs are a scourge on Floridians- I hear you Gambler!

I'm cussing the little boogers already. I can't blame you for not wanting to drive the HHR! My baby is in desperate need of a bath already.

WORD...on the lovebugs...I hate those dang things. I got caught in a swarm once...hit the windshield washers and couldnt see a thing...huge pain in the rear.

they get so thick they sound like rain.
what I have been doing is wetting a dryer sheet then lightly rubbing them off and then clean the dryer sheet resedue off , rewax, repolish the chrome and reapply the rainx |
