the steps are clean where you are going to install the parts wipe with 3M adhesion promoter 4298 and peel the backing off the parts and stick ..
the parts has m3 super stick tape on all parts

Ok, I gotta ask this again to be clear. How do you put the piece around the shifter? Does the knob have to be removed? This is on my list but I'm waiting for warmer weather to do it.

no the parts are flexible and it will fit around the shifter
