I'm thinking about getting the LEDS for my HHR.

I'm going back and forth between the red and black ones, but I'm not sure which one I want.

I've got a gray HHR, but I really haven't turned up any good pictures in my searches. I am not interested in pictures of them lit up. I am just looking for pictures of the lights when they aren't lit on a gray HHR.

For those of you that have red LEDs on your HHR, do you really notice much a difference in appearance when the lights are off, or do they look a lot like stock?

If some of you have pictures of them unlit on your gray HHRs, I would be much appreciative to see some of them.

There are pics on the store listing. I got red for my blue hhr, close to stock. If I had grey, Id get the smoked lens for a custom look, but black is good too.

 

Since you already have the Depo's I would suggest the black but that's just me.

 

I didn't see a smoked lens option? I would definitely like that.

I have the red LED tail lights, but my HHR is Sport Red. If I had a gray HHR, I would go with the black, I think that would match better. You will love the LED lights- one thing that I love is the reverse lights are super bright. When I'm backing down the driveway at night, it lights up the whole driveway. If you're standing behind the car when its in reverse, you literally need sunglasses. But I'm sure, red or black, you won't be disappointed.

 

I didn't even think of that. I have a panel and I have 25% tint on top of the factory tint (I'm an idiot), so right now my rear window is almost useless at night and backing up in near impossible to see anything. I wanted the LEDs mainly as an appearance thing, so that will be a great bonus!

I was just hoping some people on here might have possibly had multiple pictures of both lenses on a gray HHR, to help me decide.

I had my camera focused on the tails before I turned on the reverse lights. BTW this is the Bermuda Black Tails on a Shadow Edition HHR.

I ended up ordering the Bermuda Blacks, but I'm not sure if I'm going to be 100% happy with the look, as they might be to dark for me, but I guess no one had them on a gray HHR to post up any pics. The smoked sounded good, but after seeing them, it looks like the lens might be to lightly tinted and almost look like the clear lenses.


The nice thing was that I was originally going to pay with Paypal, but instead my Amazon credit card had over $44.00 of bonus points on it, so I only had to pay about $170.00 for them including shipping
