The eyebrows I did with VHT tint were badly cratered from road salt so I painted them over with body color match. I'd been thinking about it for a while, so I finally just did it. I think it looks much better than the smoke color.

 

i like it . but kinda wondering if the red strips also " light up " due to the headlights being on

 

I like it too, and am wondering the same thing.

 

 

I'm a VHT fan. But it's cool.

stripper spray foam is avail. at home depot and will remove vht, To start with a clean slate. ( as mine were also cashed from a chi town winter)

It is harsh stuff and must be used quickly.

It will eat paint to metal in about 30 sec. careful.

 

The red is totally opaque. I didn't remove the VHT. I just masked it off, a few coats of sandable primer, smoothed it out and then the red and clear.
