MRZ Performance Billet Accessories For The HHR!!

MRZ performance has made a Strut Brace for the Cobalt and other things for the Cobalt I am currently speaking with them about making billet accessories for the HHR including a strut brace(I would really like on of these). They would like to know some feedback if people would interested in purchasing items from them. I am sure if they saw how many people would be interested in their products they would become a supporting vendor on the forum, Which they are currently a supporting vendor on www.cobaltss.net. I think their products are very nice looking, plus they can do custom work on just about everything they have check out their site http://mrzperformance.vstore.ca/adva...bd2e02&x=0&y=0

This is a email from MRZ Performance; "I'm pretty sure we could get a very good interest for our products from the HHR owners, we would be able to make the strut bar but a lot more parts also..."

It would be really cool to get these guys to make parts for our cars, it will add to the small list of after market parts for our cars.

Agreed Chad, Dress up stuff made from billet is nice. If they can keep their costs reasonable, Im game for some stuff. My take on underhood accessories is a little here and there is fine. Generally, I go all out or none at all.

I would also be interested in a strut tower brace. I have one on my Mustang GT and it cut down on the body/strut tower flex during hard cornering.

Do the HHR SS models come with any sort of strut-tower brace that the non-SS models don't have? Maybe the new vehicle designs are so rigid that they aren't needed.

Good luck with that , might I recommend a chop saw rather then bolting on more weight..

Compared to a Honda the HHR defiantly seems pretty damn rigid. IMO the money is better spent elsewhere on something like good tires. (higher end falken, kumho, yoko's) The HHR would benefit vastly from a decent front sway bar(to compliment the rear) and struts. At that point it may warrant a front strut bar because the firmer suspension is putting more stress on the chassis. But on stock running gear its just bling. :thumb:

I really like the brace...if nothing more than a nice cosmetic enhancement on the engine bay.

and on second look...i like a lot of the products they make.

I'd love one if the price is right. ;)
