That's different, I like the look. Is that going to compromise the cooling? Or the collision absorbing factor for the bumper?

Thanks. No not at all.

There was this concept, kit available back in the day, was this your inspiration?

I THINK by design the HHR is a bottom breather anyway, so cooling shouldn't be compromised. Didn't you modify the actual bumper in previous pictures (I am referring to the metal bumper not the plastic bumper cover)? That would definitely compromise safety.

why do you think that? Radiator sits right behind hood grille. I am not an expert, but how is a radiator getting air in this case?

Pat, I'm diggin the go for it attitude you have. I wouldn't do that style for Big Red, but you definitely have a one of a kind HHR. I do like the look of your headlights a lot more now that the hood and grille have been changed.

How are the lights holding up? No cracks or splits in the body work?

Because I believe it was designed to take in the majority of air flow from that bottom opening, based on the design of the car. :bow:OH HHR GURUS PLEASE HELP ME:bow:

No cracks since may . This is my daily driver and i'm on the road all day. The radiator starts at the middle of the hood and lots of air goes in since my metal bumper has been openned up . The bumper is still there and strong , we just cut large holes in it .
