Sorry if I came across as a jerk like I often do. I’ve personally never seen pedal covers like you described, only ones that are held on by screws and brackets. That’s why I was confused as to how they are unique. I like your running board inserts. I though about getting a set a while back but I'm afraid they'll make my running boards useless. Seeing as how my older daughter uses the running boards to get in and out I know if I replace the factory textured plastic with smooth aluminum she'll slip, fall, and get hurt; Especially in snow and rain. But damn they do look good.

 

Not a biggie CH...I know how you are Thanks for the compliment on the board pads...they really do look great on the car. Mine are not functional...well not anymore. Only time they get stood on was when I waxed the roof of the HHR. I'll just take out an extra towel to stand on when I need and it should be all good.

Below is a picture of the other kind of pedal back was talking about. This is all I have seen, and I wasn't sure I liked the application, but after looking at it, it doesn't look all that bad.

I'm pretty angry with you for posting the picture of the metal running board. Dog-gone-it...why did you have to post that???!!!!! I went to truckshop.com and there is now a $249.00 hole burning in my pocket!! Do you have any idea how angry my wife is gonna be when I order those things??

All kidding aside...THEY ARE SOOOOOO SWEET!!!!!!!!!! And you used double stick tape to install...interesting.
