So how did you make the fog light grilles? any chance that it improved your fuel economy. There was a rumor floating around about improved fuel economy from removing the fog light cover

I took out the fog light plugs and used them as a form to bend the mesh material. BTW...same mesh we've all been using on the lower grills. Just kept cutting away the extra until it fit. They are held in by pressure. No clips, no screws, no glue. You should know the edges of this cut mesh are very sharp, be careful with it. They are 100 mph tested. As far as fuel milage, must be a rumor, behind the fog lights is basically an enclosed area, does not vent through the engine compartment.

Here's a close up, just before I took off to CJs to do the grill work.

the hole used for the air filter hose vents through the left (passenger) side location of the fog lights.

And I thought the good ole' Texas boys just rustled cattle Both of those grills look awsome. I have the mesh, I just have to get off my can and start installing it.

Thanks Firewatcher,

It's an easy mod, just takes some time with the dremel. Very good results for time invested. I'm happy with it.
