New Mods Not Wanting To Stay On

I have put several new pieces of chrome,ss on and am having trouble keeping some of them on. Yes, they were put on right, had a bodyshop guy do it. Some are just not wanting to stick good. What do you suggest to keep them on tightly? I don't want to loose them! I thought maybe it is because of the heat and humidity.

Adhesion promoter. It takes what's left after you use degreaser and alcohol.

Remember, chrome won't get you home!

Actually, I think that the body shop guy didn't do it right. I'd take it back and make him re-do it. He either didn't use a cleaner to remove wax, etc, or he didn't use enough. The tape used for this stuff is pretty tough and hard to remove. It should last for many years, if not the life of the car.

if you use the 3 m tape you can heat it up and it will stick better

I tried to get him to fix it but he put me off twice so I guess he just does not want to. Maybe he knows he screwed up.

If you paid for it make him deal with it. Hound him till it is to your satifaction. It's is afterall your car. If he is a reputable guy then he will fix, if not BBB. Tell him that next time he blows you off, bet he changes his toon.
