He has an 1LT (controls only on the left side of the wheel), which have a vinyl wheel instead of leather. I have a 1 also, and was thinking of getting a leather cover. The only problem is that the 1LT wheel feels pretty "thick" without any cover - don't know if I could handle it with a cover.

What say 1BadPig...is it way massive with the cover on - or manageable?

It's beefy, much thicker than my wife's SAAB. However, I like the thickness. It is about the same as my old Porsche 911 with Momo steering wheel.
