Painted grille

Hello all, newbie here.
I took off my grill yesterday, sanded primed and did several coats of gloss black today. Didn't like the gloss so did a few coats of matte black.
My question is, once its all dried and cured, is there something that I can apply to keep bugs from sticking? I'm afraid the matte finish will hold on to bug guts like a mofo!
TIA!

there are clear coats that you can buy that will give you a matte finish if you didnt like the glossy look

Question

I did lay down a couple coats of matte clear on top of the gloss black but it looked terrible. Like there was a coat of frost on it, especially from the side. Maybe I put it on too lightly?

Got the grille back on and I'm not loving it. The black is just not deep enough. Maybe some Armor All?

Armor All ? On Paint ?
First time it rains, you'll have Armor All streaks down on your bumper.
