yeah, but but but mine's not wrecked!! *knocks on wood* I'm sure I could buy some and have them painted to match at the dealer. I forgot that TX had wrecked his, I thought he had done the job himself. It does look good and I'm not that big on the splash guards myself....

Look great. Now all you have to do is change your signature graphic becasue they are still non-painted and it would not reflect your current ride. just a sugestion

As I posted before, it was a $50 job. You can probably find somebody around to do it for less in your area if that's what you want to do. I got lucky since they did it for me at no cost, but I was going to get it done soon anyway. To me the black splash guards were just too much of an eye sore and just really stuck out like a sore thumb.

Paint Sticking

We've discussed painting mud guards before and I don't know how you would get paint to stick to them very well. Are they rubber or plastic? If they are flexible rubber, wouldn't the paint either not stick or crack if flexed? If it works, that would be great because it looks much better.

The mud flaps are a hard plastic.

I wouldn't call it hard plastic. It is very rubbery as far as plastics go and can be bent easily using hand pressure. I bet they are made out of Vinyl if I had to guess.

There is a liquid that can be added to paint, called something like Flexol, that allows the paint to be used on materials that flex like bumpers.

Are those the factory splash guards you had painted?
