Pontiac Solstice wheels for HHR

Maybe someone out there can confirm, but I believe the Pontiac Solstice factory wheels are the same Bolt Pattern - 5 x 110. They are 18 x 8 with a 40mm offset. They just might work. Maybe a little wide, might have to roll the fender.

Actually waaaay wide. The HHR uses a +42mm offset and has only 6.5-inch wide wheels (the "7's").
If you go to an 8-inch wide wheel, you'll need a minimum of +45mm offset to tuck the rims in.

I've seen quite a few HHR's with aftermarket wheels, and my guess is that you're going to have to do some cutting/rolling and possibly other modding to get the Solstice 8's on an HHR.

So...do the swap-a-roo and let us know what you find out!

(Oh, and congrats for having double the good taste!)

Thanks and I won't be doing any swap a roos, heart attack last year and terminal laziness forbids it. I am a pre-geezer.

I think I'm starting to come down with those conditions as well. I just haven't be diagnosed yet.

Thats a nice combination! I kind of had the same thing in mind. I'll be in the market next year for a new car, and I was thinking a Solstice would be just right. But then again, the new (RWD) Impala is just around the corner so who knows

There's a RWD Impala coming??? Where'd this news come from? I must have missed something. That will likely be a sweet ride.

Supposedly its coming in 2008 as an 09 model.
I will more than likely wait for that. Allthough the Solstice is very tempting. I've driven a few and they're lots of fun.
