Nowhere yet (still thinking i'd want it on the the visor, ez to glance at/use compared to other places)
The only mounts i've seen are either the window suction cup type, or the bean bag ones.

Tho i did see one on eBay today,,,mounts in the dash glove box,,,, the cover up would drive me crazy tho

Mine is velcro'd into the upper glovebox. Pop open the glovebox when needed, closed when not in use. I don't use mine on a daily basis, so this works great for me.

C580 I just got today will sit on the the Garmin Beanbag mount in the upper left corner of the dash...at least the beanbag that worked for the Nuvi 200 it replaced will still work on the C580

Mine is pretty much the same as jx3. It is mounted with a windshield suction cup but I mount it low where the unit sits just on the dash to the right of the instrument cluster.

Here's mine in the upper dash console. When not in use, the GPS is put in its case and console lid is shut. For longer drives, the GPS is powered via power port attachment from center console

Mine sits in the seat next to me. The WiF3 Model 1.0 is likely THE BEST navi out there. It's voice Activated. Hell, Sometimes you don't even need to prompt it It will just speak up if You make a turn it wasn't expecting, Driving too fast, Following too close, lights turning yellow etc. Thing is, It quick to correct, it's not really all that quick to prepare you for a turn. it has other features like, Changing your radio to station it likes without asking, Moving your mirrors to look at itself and backing into things if you let it drive.

it says things like "why did you go this way?" and interrupts you when you try to answer it.
