Thanks for the picts of the different types.
It seems to me that installing an HID bulb in our HHR's might be very annoying to oncoming traffic: "Installing HID can blind oncoming traffic, light can scattered instead of focused like a projector lens. It's also illegal to install a HID bulb in a non-HID housing."

So, from all of this stuff, I have concluded that I've got only to choices, a) be content with what I already have, or, b) install a projector system, as 'orbitalrage' has already posted in a "How To" (lots of trouble, removing the whole headlight, not to mention pricey). Sounds like I'll just be content with what I already have!

There is not, presently, an HID reflector designed specifically for HHR's, right???

You're quite welcome T 20! And as far as I know, you're correct in assuming that no one makes a projector headlight for us HHR owners. That's why I started this thread, just to see if there was a vendor somewhere that did offer one.
