Found this on Ebay...

I was looking around on Ebay and found this:

I don't know about the design scheme as a whole, but I like the satin black paint job. I have a guitar the same color

I'm not sure, but the wheels look like those clear rims that you can put a background behind... Idk, though.

Don't know if I would buy one with a salvage title.
Cool taillights though!

I'll pass...... Looks like it riding on train wheels......

I LOVE IT!!!

Salvage title would be a deal breaker for me though.

No Thanks

Some of the body panels do not line up very well, I'd say there's more to this story. Somebody will find out the hard way. Alot of money for a salvage title.

No... I wouldn't buy one with a salvage title unless I needed parts...
I already have my HHR... I just seen it and the different black caught my eye. I hate the wheels.

The paint job is awesome though

The color shows the dents too well. I also love the taillights and from a 64 Impala keeps it in the chevy family.

looks okay, needs to have airride on it, to be a true HHR Rat rod, hot rod...

mizzouHHR 06-18-2007 03:27 PM

I agree there is more to the story. There is a ripple in the rear fender over the wheel, and I would guess more where that came from. Who knows what the car actually went through when it was stolen. I don't like that the inside of the doors was not painted, and the wheels don't do much for me either. I do like the tailights though.

Looks like it was blue, they did a quick repair job and did a flat black to cover it up the damage. The wheels would have looked sharp against the original blue I think. Probably an insurance write-off from an auction sale and someone thought they'd paint it up and make a quick buck, add some cheap 'performance' parts and make believe it was a 'hot rod'
