I got a phone message from someone yesterday but must have written the number down wrong. I'll post it here for anyone interested. If you haven't inferred by now, the project to do this part in billet hit a standstill. Once all the costs involved in the protoype and then actual production (material, 3D machining) were added up it simply was not viable. Costs were running several hundred per part in quantity and it just wasn't going to happen... I still would like to do something like this as a one-off project, and have another idea on how to get it done, but the setup cost and project time involved for this would require some committed customers.

 

What kind of price would we be talking here. I'm interested. In order to be a true BlackNight I need a way to debadge myself.

 

i have a 2007 HHR, i want to take the two back side windows and the two little windows on back doors and the hatch window on back and make them open electric is there been anybody who has tryed this. please email me at philphilwest@sbcglobal.net
