Rear License Plate Frame...whatcha got?
Im looking for a rear black license plate frame with the old school chevrolet script text in silver or something similar but Im having a hard time finding one I like...any suggestions?
post a pic of what your running if you have them please  I found this one on ebay, but its not exactly what I was looking for but its close http://i1.ebayimg.com/02/i/08/18/7e/ce_1_b.JPG |
I don't have anything on mine, as the stickers on my rear place get in the way of most of them available. When I get the new Denver Bronco plates at the beginning of the year, I'll put them slightly higher to accomodate a Dale Earnhardt chrome one that I have.
What you might want to do, is to get a plain black frame. Then you can get a vinyl chevrolet script decal from eBay and add it on there. I'm sure you can also get a silver bowtie decal as well to place on it next to the script. If the ones on eBay are too big, you might contact the seller and see if they can reduce the size for you...or visit your local vinyl shop and see what they can make up for you. |

On the same subject, I put a frame on my rear plate but there's only room for mounting screws at the top. The bottom of the plate and the frame rattle all the time. I know there's rubber bumpers between the back door and the plate. What can I place between the plate and the frame? Should I bolt them together or put some kind of rubber between them? Here's a picture.
