Looking for running boards, is the only option the ones that sell at dealers? andcan you get them already painted.?

 

Are you asking if there is more than one style of running boards? If so, I've only seen the factory style available. You can get them from the dealer or online from places like gmpartsdirect.com or chevroletpartspeople.com. What color is your HHR?

 

Check junkyards for a color match, might get lucky. They can throw it out on the circuit and maybe find a set in the color you need.

 

Color is white guess the dealer has us, would rather not go through expense of painting. but i don't want to damage my hhr.

 

Shouldn't cost that much to have them painted, just have a reputable place beside the dealership paint em. I would buy them from a discount gm vendor before I ever went through the dealer, because the dealer is gonna rip you off big time.

 

There is another set of running boards, however im not sure of cost. They are the southern comfort conversion ones, and they dont look to bad, might try checking them out

 

try some of the duplicolor one shot paints..white is a funny color but should not be far off as to be overly noticiable..pretty cheap stuff..no reducer or nuthin..primer 20$ canadian..paint about the same..

 

Unfortunately, Southern Comfort recently went out of business. Be careful if you do a search for their products. One of the distributor's websites has a Trojan virus that will cause issues with your system.

 

our local CANADIAN TIRE carries the stuff..they push it alot on TRUCK U that goofy truck show on speed..i guess in the us maybe pep boys or autozone may it..common stuff.

 

Has anyone seen black running boards installed on an HHR of a different color? I'm thinking of trying black running boards on a sport red HHR but I'd like to see how it looks first.
