Running Boards Again

I would like to install running boards on my 2010 Panel, and find lots of mention on the board about running boards but not where to get them. Mine is factory white, so will I be able to find them pre-painted or will I need to have them painted to match? I have called my dealer, the car is only a few months old, but can't get them to call me back so I have to assume they are not interested in doing the work. I am in Maryland and would appreciate any info or advise. Thanks, Chuck

you can go here and see which ones you want, and the part number that you need, then go online and find them cheaper. There is "How TO" on how to install them. They should be pre painted to match your stock color, I am guessing the Claret color is yours? If not then you might have to get the primed ones and get them paint matched. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. Ours is White and as popular as that color is, it seems that we will have to get primed boards and have them painted. I was curious if someone had a recommendation for purchasing them as opposed to ordering from an unknown to us source.

The above link is where you may find them reasonable, you can look on ebay motors or at a salvage yard.

They are no longer available in the painted as most are primer only as new. They have been this way for 2-3 years now that I can remember.

Thanks Tom, My dealer finally returned my calls. He is quoting $329.00 for the boards, $100.00 to match the color and $100.00 to install. Does this sound reasonable? I could probably do the install myself but I just don't have the time right now.

dealer running boards

I got a dealer estimate 6/2010, around 329 EACH for boards, plus painting and parts on top. Total over $800. He was gonna ask the zone manager to split price in half for my complaining. Never heard back.
Was told that all new running boards as add-ons are primer only.
