Saturn Sky Wheels

Hello All
I'm new to this great forum and I have a question for the HHR faithful. I own a Saturn Sky and have a extra set of wheels. They are 18 inch direct Fit with the HHR(putting on Chevy center Caps). My question is will the 245/45 tires be to wide?

I've looked at those wheels and wondered if they would fit. Would be great if they do, sweet look for the HHR.

It'll probably depend on the offset. Stock tires on the HHR are 3 cm narrower than the 245s on the Sky/Solstice.

I run 245/45-17 so It amy be possible. I would think a 235/45-18 would be the best fit.

You should at least give it a try first, it would be close.

yeah, i'd like to see results on if there is rubbing or not. i'm looking into going to some 245/40R18 on all 4 corners for my SS, and if those 245/45 don't rub, i should be perfectly fine.

tireman, your tires should be about the same dimensions as what i want to run, what size wheel/offset are your wheels? i'd like to try the 245/45R18 on my stock SS 18x7.5, i know they won't be too wide, as i know a guy who got 255/40 on a 7.5 wheel on an STi (talk about your sidewall bulge there though haha)

I think I remember on css.net someone said it wouldn't work. Don't let that stop you though, especially since you already have the wheels.
