shifter boot

Did Gm put a leather shifter boot in some automatic models?

I do believe so.

Member ecl replaced the shift cover of his 08 w/ that of an 09.

i would make that change just to get that little side bin. The lack of storage space in our cars is ridiculous.

I thought they looked better and really just wanted that side bin and was really easy to do.

i agree completely, just can't justify the cost doing it. If i could get the parts cheap, i would for sure.

For me it wasnt actually all that expensive. I found the whole shifter assembly on ebay got it for 60 bucks or some were around there and then just changed of the top pieces and then resold the assembly with my pieces on it for like 50ish so really I only spend around 10 bucks. Just keep an eye out on ebay or see about finding a wrecked one and go from there.
