Side Window Deflectors

Hi guys. I have a silver 07 2LT and I'm a smoker. I want to get the side window deflectors, but with the car being so light & having the chrome trim I'm not really sure how the black would look. I did see a silver truck pass me today with chrome deflectors. It actually looked pretty good. I'm stuck at work until 7:30 am and can't search the net for them. Do they make them for the HHR? Has anyone seen them on one? Anohter thought I had was seeing if I could find them in the silver color of the car. I am planning on getting a sun visor, figured it might look better if they matched? Am I just talking crazy talk right now? What do ya'll think?

I know of another member that wants chrome also and as far as I know they still don't make them for the HHR. I'm sure if someone finds them, the news will be posted here someplace.

I have a set of EGR in channel tapeless vents. I was thinking of having them painted, but I'm glad that I didn't. Once I had them on the HHR and with the dark windows, the vent blends in pretty good. Once I figure out how to upload pictures, I'll do some before and after pics.

I uploaded a couple of pictures. Somehow I sent duplicates.

Hopes this helps...

My InChannel Ventshades appear to be black.

how hard are they to install? I had another brand of inchannel deflectors and every time the window rolled up they would hit one corner on my Honda pilot so I returned them. Where do you get them?

I got mine at Advance Auto Parts for $40.00?! They are easy to install but like the directions say, clean surface well, install and close window and let them set for 24 hours. I didn't let them set on my wifes car and every time I rolled the window up, the window would get caught on the corner of the ventshade. When I did it to the HHR, let them set and no problems.
