so I have an SS grille on its way and will be intalling it on my LT.
I was wondering if anyone has specific detailed instruction on the modifications needed.
1st thought is the "grille trim"
2nd thought is cutting out a slot to alow the grille to "drop in" to the front bumper cover??
also trimming the grill?? any tips on the cutting? I don't thing i want to spend allday with a drimmel tool....
thanks for you help......ROCK ON HHR !

You just need to cut off the bottom bar:

I would use my multi-master but you bought it. I'm going to black chrome, I have one that looks like an SS.

X2. Better than hacking up the bumper cover.

The SS grills look good on both the SS and standard models. I would give up my black billet for one, but don't know about the $300 price tag.

The guy who sells HHR t shirts did a nice clean job on his. I think he cut his bumper not the SS Grill.

Forgot who it is so can't look him up to link his pics.

Been done 3 ways that I know of on here. Do some searches.
