Triple Lake Pipes Install

I'll get some better pics this weekend.

Right now I have to get ready for the Cruise Night tonight!
Comments welcome...

Here are the pics of another lowered HHR without running boards, and Lake Pipes installed:

They look pretty cool. I don't think I would put them on my HHR but they make it look bad a**. If only you could hide the factory exhaust or make the pipes functional.

The pipes can easily be made functional - in fact we also have some single slant tip pipes I just about threw on instead. The thing about Lake Pipes is that they are designed to be capped - and only opened for racing (or car events). IMO this makes them a perfect fit for the HHR - as they are capped up and the "normal" exhaust exits in the rear. See the logic?

Sure you could have an exhaust cut off. I know they can be made functional, I was talking because of emmisions testing here in NY and your state of California plus what ever over states test.

Looks good, and would go good on a throwback hhr with a black and orange flame paint job.

LOVE the billet grill. Is that a chevy aftermarket part?

I wonder how it would looks without the running boards. Would there be room to install without the running boards.

The pair of pipes weighs in at 18-pounds. I'd say that's a non-issue.

Sometimes cosmetic things are nice - but then, they're not for everyone...

Thanks everyone for the comments!
