Talking Upcoming Mods for my HHR "Smoke"

Now that I have the settlement from my Honda, I'm going to be doing some stuff to my HHR. Here's what's in the works that I already have parts for or have ordered. It's been really cold here, so some of the stuff may have to wait a week or so.

Paint Work - CGS, fuse & coil cover will be done with spray paint for now until I get good price and can spray car color (not paying $75 a pint)

Bosch +4 Platinum spark plugs

Orange eyelids - Thanks Gambler

Anti-sway bar and outlaw chrome filter (Thanks SoCalHHR)

I have also decided to remove the rear wiper and see how I like it.
Hopefully, I can get that rear panel off easily.

Custom CJ "Shaggy" Grille - which will be bright chrome and have bowtie decal like one below and top part will be plain. Thanks go out to CJ for doing this for me.

Last but certainly not least...a 55 piece wood dash kit from edashkit.com. I borrowed the pictures of another HHR install of same from JoeR. Thanks Joe.

wow. I really like the way that dash kit looks. I like that it goes right around the radio screen and the controls. It adds a bit of flair in an area that you can't really paint, which is something that I've been considering doing.

And at just over $200 it's not unreasonably priced.

Thanks for posting those images! If you happen to come across any more or know where I may be able to see some images of different colored trim, I'd appreciate a heads up.

Too funny James...gonna keep going with the Smoke theme...or I would have gone with the #3...May get a spare so I can change if I find another good deal like I did on that one. Figure if I really wanted it to whine, I'd get a 48 or 24. Just a joke Johnson/Gordon fans.

The kit was just a tad over $200 for 55 pieces. I got it from a place called edashkits.com and they come in a bunch of different wood assortments. When you go to their site, just click on the bottom link and you'll see all they have to offer.

No lowering until I get the tires I want...then I may level it...but not sure. I'm doing all of the above 06...those are for sure things. I either have the stuff already or it's on it's way.

They started making my dash kit today and I should have that some time next week...probably mid to late week. Will work with what I have now...weather permitting.
