Wax On Wax Off

Tell me what works the best for you waxing and keeping the cleaning to a minimium. I have always used Liquid Glass and I am betting when my new H.eritage H.ot R.od gets a couple of coats on it. A towel will not stay on the hood.

liquid glass

I have always had much success with liquid glass on my bike. I haven't had time to do my HHR yet but I will soon.:thumb:

I know we have a ton of meguirs fans in here..I really like thier NXT products..Only problem is waxing tends to attract dust...You may want to invest in California Duster to wipe her down every once in a while..

I used the Meguires Classic Glass (paste) last week...The dealer gave me a deal on Paint & Fabric Protection(free), but when I washed & dried the HHR it just didn't seem slick...it's slick now...and yes, the California Duster helps keep it looking good between washes.

Yep, I am one of those Meguiars fans and yep, I did buy a California Duster, because the farmers are in the fields and the state is a giant dust bowl until they get their crops in the ground.

I'm still using up some Meguiar's Gold Class... Liked it for some time now. I want to try the NXT soon.

For easy maintenance, I've seen some excellent recommendations on a Mercedes forum (a picky bunch!) for Eagle One Wax As-U-Dry. Gotta try that soon!

No matter what type you use do you use Liquid or paste?

I've been waxing the snot out of my HHR thinking it would help repell the dust!

Waxing won't repel dust. However, this duster does work (I have one) and will clean off the dust. But it only works if your car is dusty dirty, not grimy dirty.
