What is the best looking style of side fender vents?

My partner and I are just purchasing our first HHR, used 2009. I have found this wonderful forum and just became a member. I already see there are many members here with great taste in customizing their HHR. I have a question as to the side fender vents. What style looks the best, oval, square, etc. Also, where is the best place to buy these aftermarket accessories? Thanks much for your replies. Richard d./Jacksonville, Fl.

In my opinion ... none. The factory versions on the new Buicks are OK, but that's about it as far as I'm concerned.

There is nothing wrong with vents-I gotum. Remember to each his/her own-it makes all of our HHRs different. Imagine everyone with an SS on the side of their HHR.

Anyways, if you want to do vents try Walmart first (If you have one). They have the same companys vents as Pep Boys but not in fancy packaging and half the price. I put on ovals but not horizontal as I've seen before. I put mine on close together and diagnally. Adds to my Black HHR in just the right way.

I don't have them on mine, but was going to suggest Walmat also..... seems they have 3-4 different "vent" styles.

@BlackknighT..... if they all said SS on the side, I'd have more emblems to remove.

I never quite understood the use of "fake" anything whether it's a vent or a hood scoop.

On second thought....I have fake rims!! Rock out the vents if you wanna! Whatever rocks your shaggin wagon is up to you.

I know Auto Zone sells them reasonably I believe. (I know they have them). I actually thought about putting them on mine... I like the ovals the best. I never put them on mine, because then I thought about the Chevrolet script. Still don't have anything on yet. But I think go for the vent holes.

Seems simple enough to me, if you like it, do it.
