Some folks are just rude because they have been allowed to grow up that way.

Yes. A lot of that no courtesy, no manners, bad attitude stuff going around. Not just the younger generation though. It's found it's way into a lot of society.

(And don't even get me going on bad customer service now-a-days. I could discuss that subject for a long time. :stirthepot: )

I say please and thank you any chance I get.
Sometimes I get a weak response, sometimes none.
Other times well accepted answer.
And yes most of the time younger people don't answer back.
But old people are in the same boat.
