Window vent visors

thinking about getting a set, but dont know which would be better..the in-channel or the 3M tape ones...anyone got suggestions? where does the 3M tape stick to? Do the in-channel stretch out or ruin the window channel at all?

Go in channel. I had the stick on ones and don't like where they stick. They stick on the paint around the windows. I pulled mine off after only four months or so and they left nasty lines in the paint. I gotta pick up some compound and they should come out. I would just pay for some weather tech visors. Worth every penny.

im guessing the weathertech ones are in-channel then...but this doesnt ruin/stretch the channel having the visor + window rolled up?

I have never had the weather techs. I know they cost a little more but I don't think I have ever heard of anyone who complained about that brand. But I will never buy another stick on set. Just don't like the idea of sticking anything on my paint. Don't know why I did in the first place.

In Channels are a Good choice. No problems. Easy install, easy removal.

Neater cleaner looking install. IMO.

Wifes Chevy Venture has 3M tape ons.

After a couple years one blew off, I had to buy another set.

And now I see the other side is loose, so I have to remove it clean it all up removing the tape from both the vent visor and the door (PITA) and redo the 3M tape and reinstall it.
