Running Boards?!?

Cool Running Boards?!?

HELLO! I was messing around in the gallery and noticed something interesting...check out these 2 pics and see if you see what I see. In the top picture, the HHR doesn't have running boards, but it appears that the piece where the running boards usually are sticks out more than normal. See the bottom pic for an example of what an HHR normally looks like without running boards. Is this just an illusion from the camera, or does the HHR in the top pic have a different piece than usual?

I think it's just the shadow playing tricks with the picture.

Illusion Good Eye but the vehicles are not the same look at the Rims.

May be two different vehicles, but it still just looks like the way the sun is hitting is causing that illusion in the top photo.

I think that if you use CH's calculometer and determine the angle of darkness and multiply that by the curve of the swerve, you can easily determine that there is a lower number of lumens in that particular field of vision. (Natural shade is the cause of the effect)
