11 bit interface

Hi Everyone! So glad this forum exists! I love my HHR it's paid for, and wonderful. My factory radio finally bit the dust and I'm upgrading. I purchased through Best Buy a new head unit and all the parts I needed to have it installed before my vacation, but the 11 bit interface is back ordered.

So I ordered what I thought was the same part from Amazon and it's delivering today. But I'm afraid it isn't the same, now that I looked at it really good. The part I ordered has a B on the end. Does it just stand for black, as the guy from Geek Squad suggested on the phone when I rescheduled my appointment, cos I'm freaking out? I have a 2008 HHR without OnStar, So my question is ....will PAC C2R-GM11B work for installation to my HHR LS with no OnStar,---- or do I need the PAC C2R-GM11 ?

Whoever answers this, good or bad news, you are my hero as I was on hold with PAC for an hour with one call ahead of me and gave up.

Mel

DonBrew, are you familiar with their site? Will you see if you can find yes or no? I have tried several times to figure out their site and I guess I fail at life or something. HAHAHA. Joking, not joking.

Thanks Oldblue! I guess the answer is NO! Appreciate the effort. Well guess I'll be sending it back. Good news is Best Buy just texted my part came in 5 days ahead of schedule, so alls well that ends well. Thanks for checking for me! Fingers crossed I'll have tunes soon!

I never had a problem looking at the crutchfield site.

Near the bottom right of the home page supply the year and model of the car and BAM! Everything you could ever want to know pops up.

What problem are you having with it?

OldBlue was able to give me a link page and I was able to plug in the right info to answer my own question. So it's done! Thanks for trying to steer me right! Appreciate ya!
