Nice project!! How long did those door panel speaker boxes take you?
I have been wanting to make my own Fiberglass enclosers that will be painted, but I am not sure where to buy the materials, also I hate getting fiberglass on me I have heard you can put on some baby powder to keep it out of your pores.
Very nice work!!!

never heard about the powder thing, but it may work haha

it didnt take long, although i worked on it day by day after work when the sun started to go down, i could have finished it and wrapped them and insatlled them in one day, but i choose to be lazy lol

anyways, i love how they came out, but change of plans..

keeping the same pods, but im pulling the suede off of them, molding them to the doors, and wrapping the whole panel in suede (the dark gray charcoal color). the inner "circle" looking area of the door panels (where the map pocket, armrest, and window controls are) will stay factory to accent the suede. the rear doors will be the same, only with no speakers in them, ill just cover right over the stock speaker grill. also, the handles will be painted flat black, along with the door lock things, and any other chrome thing in the car lol. im even doing the rings around the speedo gauges since ill have the dash apart while wrapping it in suede.

also getting wrapped, is the top portion of the dash (the piece that is seperate from the lower part) as well as the radio bezel/water fall/top of the console around my shifter.

that should do it for the suede. i gotta pull the headliner out to deaden the roof due to the bass vibrating it, once thats done, just wait until you see whats going in the cargo.....

they're the stock tails. i just "covered" them in black nylon fabric. stretched them over really tight, and attached it around the back of the light. light shines right through it when on as if there was no cover on them, and i like the accent against the glossy paint.

Thumbs up

Nice work man. I went for A pillars and Kicker RS components in mine. with 8" CVRS in the back doors. I'm gonna change it up a bit though in the next couple weeks.
