there should be a USB port on the right side (possibly behind a small rubber cover) and then the aux input is on the left.

If your aux input is on the right you have the other radio.

Just looked on the chevy website, and the pioneer premium speaker system and the radio with USB port upgrade are different options. And if you customize the 2LT trim level, which already has the pioneer system, you can still add the radio for an extra $100. So that's what it looks like, you needed to add an extra option.

this is how the option is listed on the chevy site

AUDIO SYSTEM, WITH CD PLAYER AND MP3 PLAYBACK W/USB PORT $100

However when you click on the regular radio description, it shows a pictures of the USB version, so I can see how that might confuse some on what they are getting. Looks like it has a better display then the one I have as well, 3 lines?

I have the SS with the pioneer stereo and it does not have the USB either. I thought this was weird, I thought the SS had the bluetooth and USB stereo input standard.

Yea, thats what I thought. I am calling the dealer that I got it from tomorrow and "talking" to them about it. I was sorta angry when I read that its standard.

ya you better call the dealer. Bluetooth and usb is standard on the ss. And they are awesome. When I first got the ss I was using a zune in the aux port but would always forget to turn it off and it would be dead next time I wanted it. The usb w/ my ipod never dies and I also use the usb to charge my gps. Bluetooth is also going to be an option I search out in feature cars, so nice to have. So get that taken care of, you wont regret it.

I got a 16GB Pico mini USB flash drive and dumped my music on that...works great in the USB radio.
