I have been searching in vain to find information on a 2011 HHR, Stereo install? I have read that the HHR changed thru out the years with the electronics but why is it so hard to find a simple 2011 answer? I have the basic system with out all the whistles and bells, mine is so basic that I don't even have a Sub-Woofer, which I would like to add along with my Sony Model# CDX-C510
Can anyone help me?

Well the first issue is that they stopped production in 2011, there are no 2012 HHR's so look up the 2011 for info

No need to apologize Techman-10, occasional glitches in the "Brain to Fingertip Interface Module" occur.

Why only yesterday, I couldn't seem to snergle a complete gigglesnort without causing the spellchecker to have a breakle mentdown.
