Android Tablet in Dash Project
My next major project I will be installing a nexus 7 as my head unit. Here are some clips I got the idea from.

Very cool concept...make sure you take lots of pics and document the install. I think I'd be more apt to do this then to install a 7" touchscreen headunit. I guess my only question is how is the sound quality vs. a real headunit?

I have an iPad which is permanently in place of my gauge cluster. I am using the dash command app, it looks good and I get a ton of compliments.

I got an N7 for Christmas and have been wondering about a good way for integration with the wagon. I'll be watching this thread!

For a tablet with Blue Tooth one of the OBDII readers and Torque Pro app = all set for the needed 'dash board.'
Very cool mod!:twothumbs: |

I use my old HTC droid as a book reader, wifi analyzer, and all 'round pocketable computer, but it'd be kinda neat to set up a dock in my HHR for it, with an OBD transceiver and whatever other functionality I can cram in there.
