ummm thats escessive. the screws offer nothing else but to keep the enclosure together until the glue dries. otherwise it is pointless.

By the time I'm done the box is solid as hell though.

 

I'm done I just have to take finished pics and write the how to.

 

heck we only use brad nails and i do this for a living

lol, but believe it or not ive seen boxes fly apart/crack at the seams. more is better lol

 

i do $5K plus systems on a weekly basis and so do the other 8 guys i work with. reliability and workmanship is our top priority and no returns

 

I'm coming into this forum late but..... I was thinking of doing a downfiring box as well, however with three tens. I want to make the box fit inside the rear area as tightly as possible while still being able to get it out if needed. I had this system in my old Dodge and took it out for the HHR and am just waiting to put her back together. I do however like the look of the two Sony's.
