Crackling noise

I had the original radio replaced with a JVC unit with navi and now every time I use the turn signals I hear a very annoying crackling noise that I think comes from the radio but not sure.It adds to the loud noise that comes from the front suspension even though I replaced the original parts with the MOOG units as suggested on this Forum. My car is a 2010 LT.Thanks

Crackling in the radio usually means a bad ground check it at the radio , there are 4 grounds under the dash , two under the hood and the one in the spare tire well

Good call Oldblue - yeah check the grounds, as they can be troublesome. Also check out the speaker (I think the turnsignal sound comes out the tweeter??????) - and since you used the Lan-04 kit with the install of the JVC, it too might be at fault.

Re: front end noise - not sure what parts you have replaced already, but the sway bar struts and mounts need to be checked, as well as the lower control arm bushings (especially the rear ones). And of course the front struts can also cause noise. A good suspension shop should be able to pinpoint the source of the problem fairly quickly.

Along with ground checks, pull each plug apart and put back together with some twisting. I have to do this about every 18 months or so as dust and buggers get into those RCA connectors and various noises start. These scratches, whines, hums, etc stay constant which generally mean a connection issue.
