Interior question

Has anyone pulled off the panel opposite the sub woofer? Any room in there?

what are you looking to put in there. it's where the factory xm box goes. if you look at the panel you have that much space to put something in.

going from the window to the edge of the panel it's about 6 to 8'' depth and about the 12'' lenth you have about that much space to work with

Just to clarify, it is the passenger side rear panel, the sister of the one that the sub is in.


Brainstorming.........

I am thinking of places to put a 6 " sub in a multi sub layout. I am thinking, one were the stock 8" is and one on the otherside facing it. Option two is to replace the storage area just behind the rear seat back, either leave it about the same size and mout 2 or three 6" subs, or make the box and odd shape and put an 11"er there. In the end you would have a deck panel that is easily removable an functional.

If the subs go in the sides, the amps go in a box in place of the storage box, if the subs go behind the seat, the amps go under the deck in an intermediate shelf just abouve the spare.
