Looking for a powered subwoofer

Can anyone recommend a decent powered sub for when I'm driving w/o the cargo bay filled w/luggage. I have the premium system, but I find that the sub lacks a little oomph. But, I'm not looking to be felt or heard coming down the street before I'm arrive. And frankly being a passenger in a car equipped with a massive sub system tends to make me car sick.

Strange though it sounds better in my Pop's Cobalt, which appear to be the same setup except for the HU. May be it sounds better because of the trunk's use as an enclosure.

Thank's in advance,

I've never owned a powered sub but I hear good things about the Infinity BassLink series of powered subs. I'm more of a seperate box and amp man myself.

I've got two 6" bazooka's in mine. They fit under the shelf in the factory tray. No lost space in the cargo are and sound awesome or so everyone tells me. They make the rear view mirror unusable if cranked up and rattle your teeth. They make them in powerd and non-powered. Mine are older ones I had in my MR2, non-powered running off an Audiobuan amp.

I agree with cellblazer. If you want a powered subwoofer, Bazooka is definitely the way to go. I had an 8" bazooka sub in my last vehicle, and for the price, you just can't beat it. Oh sure, you can run by Walmart or Autozone and pick up one of those Jensen or Audiovox tubed subs, but they do not do nearly the job as the Bazooka will.
