Parking Lights & Remote Start

OK ... Can't understand why sometimes my parking lights are on when using the remote start and sometimes they are not.

Known factors

1. Night/Day
2. Auto Lights On/ Off
3. Car locked/unlocked

Any body know what makes them stay on when engine is running becuase of Auto start being used :red: ??

Thanks

not having remote start(I drive a 5Speed)...I'm purely speculating but my guess is the amount of light that the sensor is getting on your dash...

I'm not 100% sure why myself but I know they usualy are off when I use my remote start and a few times they have stayed on. I notice that they seem to stay on if I have to restart it a second time. Maybe its a warning that its you second start because you can only use the remote to start it three times before you have to use the key. Just like Wheelsee said pure speculation.

According to the book, there are options of what lights you want on and off for the remote start feature.

Hit unlock, lock, and start, and the lights should come on. Try it!

Hitting unlock gets the headlights and parking lights to come on.
