I might be wrong, but I could swear that I saw a TSB on that...I will look. You should also.

Think you are right and found it TSB #06-08-44-007C, Radio distortion and Pop Noise.

Well, I need to say that TSB SOMETIMES does NOT resolve the problem. I have been to the dealer 3 times for the TSB repair, but THINK I finally have the problem resolved.

I was detained in starting my cross country vacation this year because, on a regular maintenance visit to my dealer, I mentioned I had the radio "pop" again (occassionally).....after 1 year of pop free use since the TSB repair.

The dealer, after a couple days of "normal" repair ideas, required pulling the amp from the radio and ordering a new one.....it took 4 days because of a late thursday order from SPO.

I left for vacation the same day as the completed re-install. And I have had no reoccurrance since then and the radio SEEMS clearer and the turning signals SEEM louder (which is o'k...I'm hard of hearing).

You mean to tell me that your dealer can't read or doesn't have access to the GM Dealer Website or Tech Link????/ You absolutely need a different dealer service department.....if that is the case.
