Yeah,

I think I'm going to get the sportster because of its size and plug it in to the aux input. My only issue is the antenna? I think the best way is to get it hardwired. Anyone else have any Ideas?

Has anone seen the dash kit for the starmate. I thought that might look cool if we can get it to fit in the car

Yeah but anything done will be aftermarket. If thats your goal then good luck. I'm happy with my stock 6 in Dash CD changer with XM for now that is.

No I dont want to go aftermarket, I would hate to lose the steering wheel control function. I think what I'll do is buy the starmate and get the antenna kit hardwired with my existing antenna and use the fm modulator for it. Thanks though for the reply. If anyone else has any better suggestions please let me know

I forget where, but I have seen a device that allows you connect an aftermarket radio and still allow you to use the Steer wheel control function. Its a special plug. I saw it awhile ago. Just do a search online for one.

HHR, but if it's the same as the 2005...
