Sirius Connect compatibility w/factory radio

I just purchased a 2009 HHR fleet vehicle which didn’t come with the XM package. When I search on GM factory radios I cannot seem to find any for the HHR, but I do find a picture of what exactly resembles the face of my radio and fairly sure the factory radio is a CD MP3 Delco XM radio 25974801. I want to install the GM Sirius Connect Satellite Radio Kit: SIRGM1 SIR-GM1 and us my factory Head Unit, but none of them have any information on HHR’s. Any help shedding some light on my dilemma would be appreciated.

Just go aftermarket and plug into the aux......easier and cheaper...

Thanks for your recommendations but I’m not sure what you mean by aftermarket, is that using my old Sirius radio setup I had in my last vehicle. If so that’s what I’m trying to avoid I’m going for a clean look. I would like to use Sirius Connect through my current head unit and cost isn’t that much of an issue. Is it possible to use Sirius Connect? I can’t find any info supporting info stating it will work with the factory system.

I think it will only work if your radio has or had the XM function on it!! If it doesn't, Then i believe the answer is NO.

No I haven't bought the Sirius Connect yet I'm still a little fuzzy on which adapter I need to get. The radio in my ride is Delphi Delco system and I cannot find an adapter for that system.
But once I am certin on the adapter I'm going to buy and install...I miss my Sirius. The Job should be a snap I had the dash apart eariler to get the modle and part # of the radio took about 15 minuites to take apart and re-assemble.

This should help with which adapter you need.
