Sirius Connect compatibility w/factory radio
Well I tried the SIRGM-1 from the Avalanche and no luck I order the SIRGM2-L from TSS radio because it said it work with the vehicles no listed on the SIRGM-1. No luck again the SIRGM2-L bolts right to the exact XM location and the harness fits, but doesn't work......I had read somewhere that the SIRGM-3A was the fix to the SIRGM-2L but I can't find that one anywhere Oh well guess I will have to suck it up and deal with XM or starting looking at the SCCI set ups....and let the stereo shop figure that one out.
OK Talked with TSS radio today and they said that the SIRGM-3A was never put into production and that the SIRGM2-L was the fix all. Then they said that the HHR has a different radio and the only thing that might work for the HHR is the PXAMGM-2 however it stops at the 2008 model year, Does anybody know what if any changes from the 2008 to 2009 and beyond changes in the radio. Does anybody have the wiring diagram for the HHR XM radio harness and the sirius SIRGM1. I am thinking that if some of the pins can be moved around to make the SIRGM1 work. I am sure there are alot smarter people out there has tried this and I don't want to try and re-invent the wheel. Or I guess I will have to give the PXAMGM-2 a try at a later date. Thanks all this site is wonderful and very useful
Interesting video from peripherals on their adapter.

Used with their cables you can connect a SCC1 Sirius tuner or a
SCVDOC1 for a portable tuner (Stratus 5 for example).
The factory radio may need the XM port activated before this will work.
I don't have the $200 to $250 to try this myself yet.
Also the after market guys appear to be buying each other out,
so model numbers seem to be changing.
