Sirius and stock question

as you might know that my sirius portable was taken out of my car, so i would like to know if anyone has hooked sirius up to the stock radio?
i found this link at crutchfield:

i have the LS model with stock radio and no sat button... will this work?
i have searched and have not been able to find the anwser.

Sorry, I won't. It works on everyother GM but the HHR, Colbalt, and new Pontiacs. GM updated or changed something and it won't work. I went to my dealer and they called the manufacture they didn't have a time frame when they would have something for the Newer GM cars. I'm going to install my aftermarket system in so I can have Sirius again.

thank you much toddh... i like the head unit that i have seen in other posts and i think i will look for that one and get the dash kit from socal.... i think the this is the HU that i will look for...
pioneer DEH-P680MP

i think this has sirius and a kit that i can use the steering wheel controls if i decide to put them in...
am i right? anyone?

You would need to get SIR-PNR1 or SIR-PNR2 for Sirius, and the PAC SWI-PS or SWI-X for the steering controls.
