Hello Zachles,

This sounds a little bit different than your situation but does your radio ever say something like "Input Aux Cable" or something in that nature? Sometimes for me if I am using my phones music and revert back to the radio the next time I am driving, within the next couple days it will kick the radio off and say something similar to "Input Aux Cable." If I press the BAND button, it turns it back on. I have the Stock HHR Radio btw.

Is your aux input loose? Like, can you jiggle it around in the socket with your finger?

Sometimes if I hit a bump, even a small one, or take a turn a little too fast or sharp, it'll jostle the aux input connection and it will do that, but pressing the input connection with my finger can turn it back to the radio.

I think where the input is inserted is a little loose yes. Thats exactly what happens to me. Ok thanks for the help. Did you fix it in any way or do you just live with it? It doesnt happen to often with me, just after I am using my phones music.

I still have the problem, it's easier to just replace the stereo. I did twist up a straw wrapper and wedged it under the aux input and wrapped the cord over my rear view mirror and that helped a lot.
